Nile cruise combination & Hotel on Red Sea Riviera

1. day:  Flight - Cairo
You fly to Cairo, where you will receive from our travel agency. Check in to your hotel.

2. day:  Pyramids & Sphinx in Gizeh & Memphis and Sakkara
You visit Cheops , Chephren and Mykerinos, as well as the sphinx in Gizeh, the place of the probablymost well-known pyramids. You will then have opportunity in a restaurant for lunch - not contained in the travel price, is to be paid locally. After you drive to the old capital Memphis, which is convenient outside of Cairo in a palm hain. There you see the alabaster-Sphinx and the RAMSES statue. Subsequently, you visit the gradate pyramid of Sakkara.

3. day:  Luxor
Mornings ransfer to the airport and flight to Luxor.  Check in on your Nile cruise ship. On evening is recommendable the light & sound Show in the Karnak temple (optional). Ask your guide for this facultativ possibility. Overnight accomodation on board.

4. day:  Luxor - Eastbank of Theben, Cruise on the Nile to Esna
The day is dedicated the so-called Eastbank. Depending upon arrival  takes time before the lunch or on the next day the visit of the Luxor and Karnak temple - one of the largest and most beautiful buildings of temples. Enjoy the life on board of the ship and relaxe.
On the afternoon and/or in the evening you cruise at the Biblical Nile landscape, pass by Esna the sluice and cruise to Esna. Overnight accomodation in Edfu.

5. day:   Esna - Edfu - Kom Ombo
In the morning visiting of the temple of Esna, cruising to Edfu and visiting the Horus temple in Edfu  - which the falcon head of God Horus. Edfu, which the Greeks Apollinopolis called, became famous due to its imposanten and almost completely received temple. With the building of this enormous temple plant already during the ptolemaeischen rule in the year 237 v. Chr. one began. After you cruise to Kom Ombo . Overnight accomodation in Kom Ombo.

6. day:   Kom Ombo - Aswan
Early in the morning you drive from Kom Ombo to Aswan.
You visit the Aswan high dam into the 60-years built and the Nile was adjusted and  the unfinished obelisk in the old granite quarries. You visit the Philae temple. Overnight accomodation in Aswan.

7. day:   Aswan
Mornings you cruise with a Felukke, pass the lord Kitchener island with its sumptuous vegetation and the Agha Khan mausoleum - it was the mental head of the muselmanic sparkling wines of the Ismailiten. The rest of the day is for you free order. Visit Aswan or reservate optinal trips, which we place to you down in our list for selection: for example: Early in the morning (approx. 03:00) Abu Simbel trip (optional in the travel price do not contain).
To night cruise to Kom Ombo.

8. day:   Kom Ombo - Edfu - Esna - Luxor
At Kom Ombo you visit the double temple of the God Sobek, the crocodile God and Haroeris - God of the fertility, annihilator of the enemies of the Osiris.  Subsequently, the cruise pass Edfu, pass the sluice of Esna and goes after to Luxor .

9. day:   Luxor - west bank of Theben
You set over with a ferry the Nile river to the so-called west bank of Luxor. From here it goes by bus to  the visiting the valley of the kings, valley of the queens. - the tombs of the Pharaonen, mysteriously and unreal embedded into the mountains of Thebens. Here you visit grave plants, which give an idea of the pharaonischen funeral and dead rites to you.
Please you note that special exhibitions are in principle not contained with the graves and must locally additionally the necessary tickets themselves be bought. Before you drive back to the ship, you will see the famous Memnon Collossy, the remainders of the dead temple of Amenophis III.  

10. -14. day: Luxor - Hurghada Hotel
Transfer to hotel at Red Sea Riviera. At the 14. day morning transfer from the hotel to the airport and flight back to Cairo.

14. -15. day:  Cairo for free order
This day is to you at the free disposal. Undertake fakultative trips - not contained in the travel price - take you please down from the table. These can be in addition-booked locally. We recommend to you: visiting of the Egyptian museum
15. day transfer to the airport and flight back to your country.

Changes in the program sequence are reserved

In case of low water level and also in case of out of order of the sluice in ESNA (01.06.-15.06.2005) for maintainace, you will pass this passages by bus.
Special entry fees for special exhibition of the Tutenchamun in the valley of the kings are not contained in the travel price and to be paid locally.
It is nationalusual that tips will be collected with  Nile cruise combinations before start uniquely by the travel agency - we recommend in approximately 3, - € per day and person.
